Best way to keep your child safe and warm when taking kids to and from the car is a pancho.
You can flip it up and put the seat belt on in the car securely and then put the punch back over the child like they have a soft and fuzzy blanket.
With a poncho, you don't have to take the coats off when you're outside in the cold and the kids don't have to lose all the warmth that they built up in the coat.
My daughter fit in this Pancho from size 2T-XS clothes.
Overall, the pancho is still in good condition. It has pilling from wear and wash and a very small spot on the polkadot side.

I didn't make this I got it on etsy for $65. If interested in bigger sizes for kids, the lady still makes them bigger sizes cost a bit more. :)
